Story
As we near the end of such a difficult year, why not finish it on a high by doing something positive to raise money and really make a difference to people's lives? We need YOU to commit to doing something challenging EVERY DAY from 1st December for the 24 days of advent!
The money you raise will help Friends and Families of Special Children continue to provide vital advice, support and training to parents of children living with disabilities; to host great activities that can be accessed by all members of the family; to give young carers the opportunity to have fun, some time to themselves and to focus on just being kids.
A few challenge ideas to get you started:
Dance for 7 minutes, walk round the block 7 times or even run 7k
Write a poem or song, draw or paint a picture, busk online
Bake 7 cupcakes every day (and sell them!)
Eat 7 pieces of fruit or vegetables every day
Tell 7 jokes a day
Do 7 good turns every day
Post 7 comedy selfies a day
Donate £7 a day (the cost of 2 coffees)
Or why not **CHOOSE YOUR OWN CHALLENGE** and let us know on social media what weird and wonderful challenges you are taking on!
Get your team together (socially distanced or even via Zoom) and do it together. Or you can do it on your own, in the comfort of your own home.
Don't forget to visit the 24/7 Advent Challenge page on our website where you can download images to share on your own social media to tell everyone that are supporting Friends and Families
