Story
We train and provide assistance dogs, at no charge, for autistic people of any age whose lives will be significantly enriched by such a partnership. Our mission is to have a positive impact on the lives of autistic people and their families, to empower autistic people to realise their individual potential, improve their access to their chosen communities, and to enhance their emotional and physical well-being.
Many people will celebrate 'freedom' as current restrictions are lifted. This is a 'freedom' often not experienced by autistic people or their family. Having a Dog for Autism as a partner can open up 'freedom' to the world for these individuals and families.
The need for dogs outweighs the demand and we are limited only by funds; lockdown has been a difficult time for small charities. We have a waiting list of potential families and we are able to find and train appropriate dogs.
Walk a 'freedom mile' with family, friends, work colleagues/school friends or on your own. As you appreciate your freedom make a donation to support the freedom of an autistic person.
