Story

In 2022, Sophie Hayes Foundation began a new decade of supporting survivors of human trafficking and modern-day slavery.

Freedom Quilt in creative collaboration with Liberty and International Slavery Museum. By bringing together current participants and graduates of Sophie Hayes Foundation programmes in the traditional craft of quilting, each square will embody their past and future hopes and dreams. Created using Liberty's iconic fabrics, every square will be stitched together to form a 14.9 sq m quilt to go on display at the International Slavery Museum in Liverpool.

Donate today and support this this unique and historic survivor record that will help raise awareness of the scale and breadth of modern slavery in the UK.

With each sponsored square or donation, we become closer to achieving our goal of helping more women through our programmes; coaching and training women to build their confidence and employability.

Every £1000 will support one survivor through a year of training and support towards Sustainable Freedom and Independence.
