Help Us Free the Night: Empower Women and Support FearFree

On Friday, 7th March 2025, the night before International Women’s Day, FearFree is hosting Free the Night, a community event in Trowbridge to empower women and girls to reclaim public spaces safely and confidently. This inspiring evening will feature a solidarity walk, creative workshops, safety training, and powerful discussions about domestic abuse awareness.

🕒 Time: Starts at 5:45 PM | Walk begins at 7 PM

📍 Location: Trowbridge Town Centre

Here’s what to expect:

Empowering Walk: Join a fully marshalled, guided walk-through Trowbridge, lighting up the town with positivity and solidarity.

Inspiring Talks & Workshops: After the walk, return to the charity shop for workshops and discussions on staying safe, recognising abuse, and supporting those affected.

Live Performances: Keep your energy high with an exhilarating performance by Clubbercise! This high-energy, dance-based fitness group will light up the evening with their moves and vibrant beats, ensuring the event stays fun and inspiring.

Creative Activities: Start the night at the FearFree Charity Shop, where you can decorate banners, create empowering signs, and pick up glow sticks.

This event is completely FREE and open to everyone. Whether you're passionate about advocating for safer streets, supporting survivors of abuse, or simply want to be part of something impactful, your presence matters!

Our goal is not only to empower participants but also to break the silence around domestic abuse and support survivors.

£20 could pay for comfort toys for two children fleeing an abusive home

£39 could pay for a birth certificate for a survivor to open a bank account in their own name

£100 could pay for an emergency hotel room for a family fleeing domestic abuse
