Story
From rescuing just three foxes in 1993, The Fox Project has grown to become a crucial lifeline for over 1150 foxes, including more than 300 injured or orphaned cubs in 2023.
As we enter the intensive period that lasts until around the end of August, we are reminded of the long and costly journey from admission to release for our rehabilitated fox cubs.
The youngest cubs, in particular, require round-the-clock care and feeding until they are ready for solid meals.
By peak cub season we will be providing around 900 meals a week at the cub unit alone, highlighting the significant resources needed to support these vulnerable creatures.
This is where the Fox Cub Food Bank comes in. Through your generosity, we can guarantee that each fox cub in our care receives high-quality food and essential enrichment items to aid their development and hunting skills.
Your support will make a tangible difference in the lives of these vulnerable cubs, helping them grow, learn, and ultimately thrive in the wild. By contributing to the Fox Cub Food Bank, you become a vital part of their journey toward independence and freedom.
