This will be our third year of Chilly Dip's for International Women's Day across the country to raise money for small charitable causes reducing loneliness and isolation for older people. Join us in Bournemouth, Southend on Sea, Hunstanton and more!
We are now in the third year of charity chilly dips in celebration of International Women's Day!
Our brave McCarthy Stone colleagues will be taking part in these dips across the country to raise money for charity in the days before and after IWD. It's not just for women. Everyone is welcome
Every penny raised is matched by McCarthy Stone and goes to small charitable causes who help to reduce isolation and loneliness for older people. This included dementia charities, befriending groups visiting care homes and those living independently. Our aim is for older people to feel connected to their communities.
It is no easy feat to get into the sea or lake in March and so please show your support by sponsoring our incredible colleagues!
So far there are chilly dips arranged in the following locations:
- Bournemouth Beach - Wednesday 5th March 12.30pm
- Anglesey Beach - Wednesday 5th March 1.30pm for 2pm dip
- Hunstanton Beach - Friday 7th March at 12.30pm
- Southend on Sea - Friday 14th March at 11.30am for 12pm dip
