Visit the charity's profileThe top choral ensemble at Fort Hays State University has been invited to participate in the 80th Anniversary Pearl Harbor Commemoration Concert Series in Hawaii. The group proudly represents FHSU on tours, at festivals, in church services, and for banquets. The Fort Hays Singers have been chosen to perform at various local, statewide, and regional events performing mostly a cappella, in a wide variety of choral styles, from Renaissance to Contemporary, including Vocal Jazz.
The Fort Hays Singers are thrilled with the opportunity to perform in the 80th Anniversary Pearl Harbor Commemoration Concert Series in 2021. This patriotic and musical spectacle will take place December 4-8, 2021 at several of Hawaiis most well-known memorial parks, outdoor stages, veterans centers, and performance venues.
The Fort Hays Singers will be featured among several accomplished ensembles selected to perform in this historic commemoration to honor Americas heroes who fought on the date which will live in infamy. To commemorate this occasion, the ensemble will take part in a military wreath laying ceremony at the USS Arizona Memorial.
Please consider making a gift to this accomplished group of students for their airfare expenses to Hawaii!
