Story
Members of our Forest of Hearts Health and Well-being Group will be taking on the challenge of conquering the three highest peaks in the UK (Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England, Mount Snowden in Wales) and travelling the distance between, until they make it home to Stratford.
This is in a bid to raise vital funds for disabled access paths at the Kitchen Garden at Stratford-upon-Avon Hospital.
This will be a virtual challenge which will see participants collectively walk, run, cycle or swim 1,020km (634 miles).
Each member will be keeping record of how many miles they complete over a set period of time using apps such as Strava or a wearable fitness tracker. We will then provide progress updates of how they are doing towards their collective target.
The cause itself is one very close to the participants hearts and all money raised will help go towards the creation of the disabled access paths, making the kitchen garden accessible to all.
We would be extremely grateful if you were able to sponsor us to complete the challenge by making a donation and helping a great cause.
Thank you from everybody at the Forest of Hearts and our Health and Well-being programme.
Lets get ready to ramble!!
