Story
Since the lockdown, many young people in our communities have lost the opportunity to keep active, to see friends, to socialize and thrive through sport. Many of these young people are vulnerable, with no access to equipment at home or online gym memberships. If not addressed, this emergency will lead to long-term consequences for the mental and physical health of our future generations.
At LUPI DI LONDRA we value football not only as a sport we are all crazy for, but mostly as a way to empower our communities, and especially young people. Thats why we decided to create some FOOTIE FITNESS PACKS, to help our most vulnerable kids to keep active, engaged and focussed. Every FOOTIE will contain some simple exercise equipment (a soft ball, some spot markers, agility rings etc.) and a letter with all the instructions provided by our FA certified coaches. We have designed exercises that can be safely performed at home or outside, maintaining social distancing.
We will partner with UNITAS YOUTH ZONE, a fantastic charity based in North London. They will deliver our FOOTIES to young people in need across Burnt Oak and the North London Area, keeping up their incredible work and commitment to the local community. The packs will be assembled by NEWITTS, a leading provider of sport equipment. Our FOOTIES will be assembled in their warehouse and then delivered to UNITAS, who will proceed with the local dispatch.
Our initial target is to deliver AT LEAST 100 FOOTIES across the area. We need to raise £3500 as soon as possible to proceed with the order. By fundraising our initiative you will help a kid to keep active, positive and healthy. These are unprecedented times and so many young people, particularly those less fortunate, need our help now more than ever.

LUPI DI LONDRA CHARITY FOR KIDS: we provide leisure and sport activities for vulnerable kids in the London area, in particular a free football program. In the past we have funded initiatives for Unicef and Futebal da Força and responded to international crisis through our London-based Italian community.
UNITAS YOUTH ZONE: is a charity and dedicated centre for young people ages 8-19 (or 25 with disabilities) based in Burnt Oak. Over 7 days a week, in their state of the art building, it provides a huge range of activities for young people during after school or weekend. It provides access to sports halls and welcomes over 1200 visitors a week.
