Small community poverty has been one of the more difficult areas to tackle, especially in rural areas where communities living in poverty can be located in food deserts.

What are we doing? Two years ago Feed the Hungry successfully established mobile pantries across South Leicestershire using an old mobile library van. One of the these locations in a small community on the outskirts of Hinckley wishes to establish a permanent pantry in their church building and man it with local church members.

We want to raise £6000 to help renovate and equip this new food pantry in Hinckley so that the church can feed the community in mind, body and spirit.
