Story

We are raising money for two fantastic charities, whilst also getting the community together, getting outdoors and learning about the world around us.

70 % of proceeds will go to FOGGS a registered charity that raises money to support a small but fantastic village school. FOGGS fundraises to enhance and enrich the learning opportunities available to all the children of Great Gaddesden School.

30 % of proceeds will go to Small Steps Foundation, a registered UK charity. Unlike larger charities Small Steps foundation doesn't have large admin expenses or overheads, they work voluntarilly- only Ugandan team members are paid a wage, so funding will go directly towards improving the lives of vulnerable children in need of special care and empowering their families, in Uganda.

About the charity

We are the parents and guardians of children at Great Gaddesden School. As it is a very small school (less than 100 pupils), it has limited resources. The staff do not have limited ambitions though and want the very best experience for each child and it is a really fantastic school with a lovely nurturing community. FOGGS raised funds to support the school and has in the past year helped fund a new, safer playground surface, interactive whiteboards and the reading scheme books. This year we want to help fund a quiet area in the school, where all children can go and enjoy some peace if they get overwhelmed or just want some time away. We are very grateful for any support you can give.
