As you may know, internships are an essential component of our students' education, professional and personal development, and career readiness. These internships provide students with a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on their respective fields, community, and opportunity to develop the skills and expertise necessary for their future careers. However, many of our students face financial challenges that make it difficult for them to fully participate in these valuable internship opportunities. The costs associated with transportation, professional attire, required screenings during onboarding their internships, and living expenses during the internship period can be overwhelming, especially for those who are already managing the financial burden of their education.

We firmly believe that every student should have an equal opportunity to excel in their chosen field and gain the experience needed to become successful professionals. Your donation will directly support students by covering expenses related to:

• Transportation: Funding will allow assistance to be provided in the form of gas gift cards and uber cards that will allow support students in attending internship as scheduled weekly.

• Professional Development: With your support, students can attend conferences, workshops, and training sessions that will enhance their skills and knowledge in their respective fields.

• Mentorship Programs: Your contribution can help us establish mentorship programs that connect students with experienced professionals, providing them with guidance and valuable insights.

• Professional Attire: Funding will allow gifts cards to be provided to aide in students obtaining professional clothing upon request and identified need.

• Internship Screenings: Your contribution can help student’s pay for required screenings requested by the field site prior to the student’s placement.
