On Sunday 17th March 2024, join the Grief Encounter Forget-Me-Not Walk, sponsored by Hand On Heart Jewellery, as hundreds of people up and down the country walk, wheel, scoot or run in memory of someone close, raising vital funds for bereaved children, young people and their families.

Now in its fourth year, it couldn't be easier to join us and take part! Walk solo, or as part of team - with your family or friends, classmates or work colleagues! Choose your route and distance, ask for sponsorship and you're ready to go! Each registration of £5 will receive a Grief Encounter beanie hat, your Forget-Me-Not memory stickers, and a Hand On Heart Jewellery brochure.

100% of the funds raised will go towards supporting bereaved children and young people who have experienced the death of someone close, and those impacted by grief. 10% of any products purchased from Hand On Heart Jewellery will also be donated to the charity as part of this event.

In the last year alone, we have seen a 173% uplift in calls to our national helpline asking for support. More children, young people and families than ever are in need of professional grief support. Our priority is to be able to continue offering the best support we can to all of those who need us, and we can't do that without your support.

Walking in the Forget-Me-Not Walk has no minimum fundraising target, however, for every £150 you raise, you could fund a Grief Relief Kit for a family; a unique kit full of age-appropriate resources including storybooks, a journal, Grief Guides and memory making tools help them take their first step to professional bereavement support.
