Story
MWT has been informed about remote places in Bangladesh within the Sunamganj District which have been severely affected by the floods, these places are remote and difficult locations to coordinate a relief project and these places are only getting little help from locals, therefore we have been asked to urgently coordinate supplying of food parcels to these people.
We are looking to travel to Bangladesh within the next 10 days, so please support this appeal urgently, so we can plan accordingly and help those worst affected.
We are looking to deliver food packs first hand to desperate families who have been affected by the severe flooding, the worst in over a 100 years. The location is remote and difficult to access.
We will be organising the food packs on the ground and will have use of boats to deliver to these remote places, where no other aid agencies are working.
We intend to provide families with monthly food packs containing esstential items such as, rice, lentils, potatoes, oil, salt, onion, garlic, sugar, milk powder, soap.
The monthly parcels will approximately cost £50. Please donate generously and encourage others.
MWT operates a 100% donation policy, All representatives and persons in MWT are volunteers and no staff member is paid.
Please support this campaign as best you can.
