We are a group of students from Flegg High Ormiston Academy. We are running two 'F1 in Schools UK' teams called 'Venti Racing' and 'Caliber'. We have entered the competition this year at Development Class; a step up in demands and required funds. We are aiming to move to Professional Class next year. F1 in Schools is an event where you design and create your own mini F1 car that you race down a track. This forms part of the whole experience which also teaches us presentation skills and problem solving. To compete against students from colleges and other schools we need funds to help develop our brand and perform outreach events into local primary schools to help nurture the next generation of F1 in Schools teams. All funds donated will go towards supporting the project.
