Story

What is popularly known as Britain's oldest road, this 87 mile trek across The Ridgeway National Trail will take in some of the most beautiful views of ancient woodland and open countryside, all in the space of five days!

Starting in Avebury, this iconic trek will pass through the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with wide, open views of rolling chalk downland. The Ridgeway then travels through wooded and intimate hills and valleys of the Chilterns full of vibrant wildlife, before taking its end at the stunning Ivinghoe Beacon.
