GET READY, GET SET...for a week of virtual wellness events and fitness challenges this November 22 - 26, 2021.

Last year's Fit for Care event raised more than $19,000, enabling the purchase of a tandem wheelchair bicycle and supported garden enhancements. This year, Fit for Care is on a mission is to purchase a WisperGlide wheelchair swing for our backyard and to support Life Enrichment activities at McCormick Home.

There are many ways to participate - create a fundraising page, join a team, or participate in our wellness events by making a donation in support of a participant or team.

Everyone who participates or donates will be eligible to join Fit for Care's wellness events. An email with details for event participation will be sent a few days prior to each event.

We're so fortunate to collaborate with Fanshawe College's Recreation & Leisure Services faculty and students. Plus, this year we are super excited to welcome Fanshawe College's Culinary and Contemporary Media, to our collaborative partnership! About the Event: Fit for Care is a week of wellness events and fitness challenges developed in a unique collaboration between McCormick Care Foundation and Fanshawe College's Recreation & Leisure. Fit for Care is focused on providing a 'real-world' learning experience for students and is dedicated to raising funds that will enhance care and enrich lives for McCormick Home's residents.
