Story

How far would you go to help support end-of-life and palliative care in your community?

On 17 October 2024, our determined Hospiscare Heroes will brave the blaze and complete a firewalk to help raise vital funds for Hospiscare.

Conquering the hot embers will be a challenge, but it’s nothing compared to the challenge of a terminal diagnosis that many face each year – and that’s why it’s so important Hospiscare can be there for local patients and their families, now and in the future.

For over 40 years, Hospiscare has provided free expert palliative and end-of-life care for those in need, enabling local patients and their families to make the most of the precious time they have left. Our specialist doctors and nurses care for over 2000 terminally ill patients every year, across Exeter, Mid and East Devon, supporting families through some of the hardest times in their lives.

But we can’t do that without your help.

So please, show your support for our incredible Hospiscare Heroes as they walk on hot coals to help make sure no one faces one of life’s most difficult journeys alone.
