Organised by First LightThe Firestone Freezer 2019 is Plymouth's inaugural New Year's Day Swim and dip! A community of brave souls will enter the sea for a brief dip in the refreshing waters of Firestone Bay, Devil's Point, in Britains Ocean City.

Visit the charity's profileThis annual event will support a different Plymouth-based charity each year. In its first year, the Firestone Freezer will be raising money for First Light which supports thousands of people each year affected by Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence across Devon, Cornwall and Wiltshire.
The event will kick-off at noon on Tuesday 1st January 2019 at the Stonehouse Lawn Tennis Club (PL1 3RW). After the dip, warming refreshments will be available for all participants back up the steps at the tennis club. Sign up to take part on Eventbrite at bit.ly/FF-2019.
