Story
Firefly Gala 2018: an evening of words and music from Syria and the Balkans.
On 20th November 2018, Firefly International will hold its 5th annual fundraiser at the Actors Church, Covent Garden.
Its going to be a brilliant night of performance, music, refreshments and will feature readings from Neil Stuke & Pandora Colin. Plus messages of support from Jeremy Irons and Ammar Haj Ahmad of The Jungle, the acclaimed play about the former refugee encampment outside Calais. We have musical performances and information on our work too.
Firefly International is a charity dedicated to providing education and access to the arts for children in conflict and post conflict areas.
The money raised goes straight to Fireflys local partners who are running projects in Bosnia and in Turkey for Syrian refugees. Hundreds of thousands of children are uprooted, lives are torn apart and futures put in jeopardy due to war.
Firefly International provides a safe place, hope and opportunity for displaced children and those living in post conflict zones.
