Finchley CC - Fundraising 2023

Finchley CC is a long-established (since 1832) and well-respected community cricket club. Our successful playing history has produced such world-famous alumni as Eoin Morgan and Sophia Dunkley, and we provide facilities for community events such as parties, wakes and bar mitzvahs. The club currently counts on 56 adults, 180 junior and over 250 social members. Our first team was recently promoted to the Premier Division, and our growing and talented Colts section is competing successfully at all age group levels.

In recent times, the club Executive has been planning on a series of improvements to Club infrastructure. Below is a brief summary,

- Electronic Scoreboard (upgrade the existing manual main scoreboard, and add a new digital scoreboard for Colts fixtures) - approx. £8k-£10k,

- Playing facilities & Ground improvements (Hybrid pitches on the main square and/or at the far end of the ground) - approx. £5.5K per pitch.

- Development of Girls cricket and outreach to local schools programme (by having a dedicated Girls Cricket coach) - approx. £5K

- Further improvements to the Clubhouse and changing facilities (fix the gates at the front of the club, new club signage board, uplift changing facilities) - approx. £10-15K

- Provision of enhanced coaching across all teams.

To be in a position to move forward on some of the projects, we urgently need to raise additional funds and would be grateful for your kind contributions (however small or large they can be). We would be immensely grateful for any donation, and whatever is affordable, please do not feel under any obligation to make a financial contribution.
