Its that time of year again, and after an incredible response from communities and business across Fife last year, Fife Gingerbread are ready to launch our Annual Heat & Eat Appeal 2022! Fife Gingerbread support and empower lone parents and families in need living in Fife. We provide a whole family approach to help families overcome barriers.

The money raised through our Annual Appeal helps to provide safe, warm, and healthy homes for their children and families, providing crisis support when needed. All donations will be used to directly benefit the families accessing our support.

The Annual Appeal will also help some families with a Festive Package (which can include toys, food, and fuel). To ensure that children and young people living in low-income households have a magical Christmas.

Last year we supported over 120 families (including 260 children and young people) to have a safe and warm Christmas.

A donation to Fife Gingerbread will make a huge difference to the families we support.

- Raise awareness on social media of our Annual Appeal by sharing our JustGiving Appeal on your pages.

- Donate to the Appeal only if you can - perhaps donate in lieu of Christmas Cards or as instead of doing a Secret Santa at work?

- Do a festive fundraising activity on our behalf - Get in the festive spirit by hosting a fundraiser on National Gingerbread Day 21st November! Wear funny hats, carol singing, anything that will make you smile!

- Put collection envelopes on tables at your Christmas parties.

- Rattle a Fife Gingerbread collection can at a local event.

- Wed love to hear your ideas!

We are committed to continuing to raise awareness of the issues affecting lone parents and families in need the inequalities that their children and young people face have been exacerbated through the pandemic.
