Story
This year Father Hudson's Care are hosting the first ever Firewalk in support of the work we do. In April 100 people will walk across hot coals to help Father Hudson's Care be there for people in need in the heart of England.
For 126 years Father Hudson's Care has been supporting those most in need across the West Midlands, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, and Staffordshire. We work across the area from our base in Coleshill to provide specialist support that is targeted to the needs within a local community. Our key areas of work are:
- Homelessness - We provide specialist support to people affected by homelessness as well as supporting individuals and families to secure tenancies and maintain their tenancies
-Disability - Our dedicated workers support individuals to ensure they can live an active and fulfilling life based on their interests and talents through residential, domiciliary care and an active day service
- Refugees - We provide specialist support to refugees, asylum seekers and vulnerable migrants including advice and support, language, employment support, as well as providing essential items including food and toiletries
-Older People - Our services provide residential care as well as opportunities for Older people to socialise reducing isolation and loneliness.
-Children and Young People - We provide a fostering service as well as support for children and their families particularly where child welfare and educational attainment are affected.
Thank you for supporting the work of Father Hudson's Care. By supporting our work you are enabling us to continue to be there for the people we are working with as well as responding to crisis situations.
