Whether its a mug of hot chocolate by the fire, decorating your Christmas tree, or cooking (and eating) the Christmas dinner, the chances are, whatever it is, is also dependent on your environment feeling warm, safe, and surrounded by loved ones; homely.
Our environments affect the way we feel. That is why CRASH exists, to help adults experiencing homelessness have a place to call home, in a supportive environment that helps them to get back on their feet.
CRASH also exists to also help children and adults receiving end of life care in a hospice, so they can have a peaceful and safe space to call home for the short time they have left.
You might think that you cant help a person in these situations, but you can. By fundraising for CRASH this Christmas, you are helping to construct the environments they so desperately need.
The Oxford dictionary describes homely as simple but cosy and comfortable. Your fundraising will help to create these very environments for those who cant be at home this Christmas. Whether its an adult who is experiencing homelessness, or a child receiving 24-hour care in a hospice, you will be making a difference.
There are plenty of ways that you can support CRASH this Christmas, from coffee mornings to CRASHmas Jumper Day.
