Story
There's no better introduction to watching birds than seeing what comes and goes in your own garden, or on a park or nature reserve feeding station. The hustle and bustle of a set of feeders and a busy bird table can bring delight and joy on any grey day.
At the beginning of 2018, our friends and partners at Livability Holton Lee allowed us to set up and install a new feeding station which mean the public can enjoy the comings and goings from the comfort of your own home. Great Spotted Woodpecker, Nuthatch, Blue, Coal and Great Tit, Goldfinch and Starling are all frequent visitors. Chaffinch, Greenfinch and Long-tailed tit are a tad shyer, whilst a few rare appearances of Blackcap and Goldcrest have also occurred. You can watch the livestream of the feeding station here: Holton Lee Feeding Station Webcam.
Livestream webcams have been incredibly important to us this year, providing us with a connection to nature as we've been tucked away in our homes. As the year comes to an end, we hope you can help us fill up the feeders at Holton Lee in the new year by raising £250 for bird seed. Thank you for your support.
