Start Small began in 2011 to educate, empower, and encourage the youth of Nakuru, Kenya. Since then, Start Small has grown immensely and has supported over 125 children to attend school.

From the moment we met, we have admired our family's hard work and determination no matter how difficult their situation was. As Christmas came around, we knew that many of them would not be able to celebrate the holiday season as they deserve to, which is why we decided to start Feed A Family.

As a special appreciation and gift to our families, we wanted to spread some joy and love by putting together hampers with some staple foods, necessities, and a few extra treats for them to enjoy during the Christmas season.

We then distribute the hampers amongst our Start Small families and throughout the community. The joy it brings them is immeasurable and we feel so grateful that we are able to do this.

This year has been especially difficult in Kenya, as the cost of living has risen significantly, impacting every sector of our lives. This is the reason for the increased cost of the food hampers themselves and the reason we are preparing early. We are dedicated to this project and the relief it brings at a time of year when everyone deserves to feel some extra love and a little bit of peace.

A donation of £15/ $18 / 2,500 KES will buy a HUGE hamper for one family, providing meals through the holiday season.
