Visit the charity's profileThis our second annual Sleep Out Challenge. We will once again host a small group of business, community, and faith leaders from our region. Proceeds will benefit Alpha-Omega Miracle Home, a faith-based, Florida non-profit founded in St. Augustine in 1997.
Sleep Out events are a global movement, connecting people from many different backgrounds with a single purpose: to shine light on the issue of homelessness. A Sleep Out is not about pretending to be homeless, but rather an experience to understand and reflect. In his letter to the Galatians, Paul wrote: "Share each others burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ. If you think you are too important to help someone, you are only fooling yourself. You are not that important." Galatians 6:2-3
