Visit the charity's profileLast year FareShare Sussex began to trial zero emissions vehicles to deliver surplus food, including a refrigerated electric van and e-cargo bike. This has enabled us to collect and deliver more surplus food to the community in a sustainable way.
What better way to celebrate than with a cycle ride! We have brought together a team of 20 incredible staff members and volunteers - many of whom deliver food in our e-cargo bike - to take part in a beautiful 30 or 60 mile ride around our beautiful South Downs. The event is hosted by our friends at partners, BHT Sussex.
Please show your support to the amazing team who have worked so hard during the pandemic to ensure good food destined for the bin instead provided meals to the people that need it most across Sussex and Surrey.
