Thanks to just 11 donors last year, our Lasallian Education Access Program was able to fund an overnight retreat at St. Joseph's Camp for 20 students in January 2023.

LEAP is asking for your support to help fund two LEAP overnight retreats - a sophomore and junior winter retreat focused on college readiness and a new senior retreat in April to help these first-generation college students prepare for the transition to college and anticipate the challenges and opportunities that lay before them. These retreats have become an essential part of our educational, faith-based programming and promise to provide our students with an enriching and transformative experience.

We believe that an overnight retreat, specially-designed for LEAP Scholars, offers several advantages, including:

Personal Growth: Students will have the opportunity to step out of their comfort zones, try new things, and gain self-confidence.

Team Building: The retreat will include team-building exercises that encourage collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Leadership Development: Workshops and discussions will focus on leadership skills, helping students become effective leaders in their academic and personal lives.

Camaraderie and Friendship: Spending time in a relaxed and natural setting helps students connect on a deeper level, fostering a sense of unity and friendship.

Refreshed Focus: The retreat provides a break from the daily grind, allowing students to return with a renewed focus and motivation for their studies.

In order to make this retreat a reality, we require funding for accommodation, transportation, meals, and materials and we are seeking the support from generous individuals like you who share our vision of empowering and educating our youth.
