Story
According to UNESCO Senegal is one of the ten countries in Africa, where over half of the adult population is illiterate with the majority being women. To deal with the problem FACE is opening an elementary school in Sept 2020 on the land that has been donated by the local community. The school is for the TambaCounda community in Senegal, which will have six rooms as well as toilets and indoor sports activities for which 70 students (6-8 years) have already been enrolled. The total cost of the project is £31.000. We aim to build initially three classrooms with an estimated cost of £15,500 as soon.
