An estimated 23 million people in Pakistan are visually impaired, and for 80%, that blindness is curable or reversible. Every three minutes, a person develops an eye disease in Pakistan.
ISRA-UK is focused on providing good health and medical assistance to poor communities in Kashmir. We aim to carry out cataract operations in Mirpur and Neelum Valley.
£90 will provide vulnerable Pakistani with cataract surgery to prevent and reverse blindness in one eye.
