In August 2024 a brave team of students from The University of Exeter Student Union will tackle this challenging multi-day expedition, taking them to one of the most iconic landmarks, the Lost City of Machu Picchu.

They will venture for 9 days from the historic market town of Cusco through the glaciers of Salkantay, and ancient Inca paths, and hiking through the tropical Amazon jungle en route to one of the 7 Modern Wonders of the World.

Participants taking part in the trek will need to raise a minimum of £1695 for Alzheimer's Research UK.
