Every Baby Safe and Sound

We’re calling on you to help us ensure that all families having twins, triplets or more can bring their babies home, safe and sound.
We’re calling on you to help us ensure that all families having twins, triplets or more can bring their babies home, safe and sound.
We’re proud that our work with maternity units saves babies’ lives. But we can only carry on that work with your support.
Twin pregnancies are higher risk than singleton pregnancies and sadly outcomes are worsening. Only 1.4% of pregnancies are multiples, yet they represent 6.4% of stillbirths and 13.5% of neonatal deaths. It’s getting worse. That’s why our work with hospitals is so important.
Paramjit and Naminder had loss after loss, stretching over 13 years, including losing twins at almost 20 weeks.
But thanks to the amazing care provided by their midwives Laura and Nicky and with the support of Twins Trust’s Maternity Engagement Project in October 2023 they were finally able to have precious twins, Ajooni and Avnoor.
Twins Trust's Maternity Engagement Project works in partnership with maternity units to offer tailored, specialised care led by a multi-disciplinary team (midwife, sonographer, consultant – all working together). The impact of this project speaks for itself with hospitals who have taken part since 2019 showing a 36% decrease in multiple stillbirths. It's that kind of care that enabled Paramjit and Naminder to bring their babies home.
Sadly with budgets tightening it's becoming harder and harder to find money in the NHS to fund this work.
Please help us by donating today. Every £100 raised until 24 March will enable us to give another family expecting twins, triplets or more the best possible chance of bringing their babies home safe and sound.
