Story
Every Day in May 4 Dravet is back for its fourth year!
Supporter Tats Ward, was inspired to set up the #EveryDayinMay4Dravet challenge in 2021 when she was unable to visit her seven-year-old nephew, Dominic, who lives with Dravet Syndrome, in hospital during the COVID lockdowns. Since 2021 the challenge has grown tremendously, from 40 participants that first year, to 280 amazing adults and children taking part in 2023 where a phenomenal £85,000 was raised, helping us to support more families, educate more professionals and fund more research.
2024 - A record breaking year
The challenge is to cover 5km or 2km each and every day in the month of May. While the challenge is undoubtedly a tough one, the team, who are led by Tats, motivate and encourage each other, helping to keep energy levels up and spirits high throughout the whole month.
We're absolutely delighted that a record-breaking team of over 415 incredible adults and kids are participating in 2024! It's the biggest team yet, raising even more funds and awareness of Dravet Syndrome.
Thank you so much to everyone who donates, cheers from the side lines, and to everyone who takes part. You are all inspirational humans and we're so very grateful for your support.
