Story
Every child deserves to see themselves in the stories they read.
This World Children’s Day, the Children’s Voices Centre (CVC) at Charles Sturt University is raising $5,000 to create 10 Little Libraries filled with books that highlight children’s perspectives and promote health, equity, and inclusion.
Each library will include 20 beautiful books written and illustrated by Australian authors, including First Nations storytellers. These stories will be accessible, inclusive, and chosen to reflect the voices, dreams, and diversity of children across our regions.
The Little Libraries will be distributed to community and health services ensuring that every child and family has access to books that inspire belonging, understanding, and joy.
Each library will costs $500 to create, and with your help, we’ll build 10 Little Libraries that nurture imagination and amplify young voices across regional Australia.
Your Impact:
• $25 buys a book written from a child’s perspective.
• $100 supports a set of books for a local community service.
• $500 builds and stocks one complete Little Library.
Our Goal: $5,000 to create 10 Little Libraries.
Join us in giving every child a story and a voice.
