We are aiming to raise £25,000 towards our Football Foundation 3G pitch project. Everett Rovers Football Club are working with the Football Foundation and Hertfordshire County Football Association to build a state of the art floodlit 3G artificial pitch on Leggatts Playing Fields that everyone will be able to enjoy. Costing over £850,000 this is a huge investment into the site and one that will sustain the long term future of the club. As a club, we have to raise partnership funds towards the project in order to satisfy the grant criteria. Whilst we have already managed to identify a significant amount we are currently around £25,000 short of our target. Dedicated club volunteers have put so much time and effort to bring the project to the current position -the final hurdle is to ensure we can raise the funds too. Planning permission is currently being sought and the application under assessment with the Football Foundation. We need to try and reach our target for the partnership funding so with this in mind we are appealing to everyone; friends, family, players' parents, local businesses and community members so that we can try and raise as much additional funds as possible. The project will not only provide a fantastic match play and training venue for our teams, but will be enjoyed by local schools, community groups and individuals establishing the club as a key community hub and making our facilities sustainable for the long term.
