Next week I (along with 16 other people) will be taking the trip of a life-time with charity Ethiopiaid, who I’ve passionately supported for many years. I will have the chance to visit the small organisations who work hard to transform lives for people across Ethiopia. During my trip I’ll be taking part in 8km Hawassa challenge!

Walking the 8km Hawassa route is a fraction of the distant a pregnant woman in rural Ethiopia could walk to reach a health facility or the distance a woman suffering from fistula (a devastating childbirth injury, sadly still common across rural regions of Ethiopia) might be forced to travel to find a surgeon who could operate and heal her.

This trip next week is incredible opportunity. I’ll share more photos and stories with you on my return, but you can see some pictures of where I’ll be going below.
