Story
Emporia State Hornet Baseball is hosting our fourth annual Hornet Wiffle Ball Tournament! It will be October 9th, right across from Historic Swope Park in Kansas City, MO. For alumni, family, and friends who wish to participate it is only $50 per player (minimum 6 players per team). This is by far our biggest fundraiser of the year and has raised over $20,000 each of the last 3 years!
Your generosity is what allows Emporia State Baseball to compete for conference championships, regional championships and national championships, while also allowing us to provide a championship level experience for our players. We believe that our point of difference is in our culture and our player development system, so every dollar that we spend is with that in mind.
In the past few years this campaign has helped fund equipment for our weight room that was completed in the fall of 2019, our new pitching tunnel that was completed in November of 2019, has allowed us to purchase state of the art technology like a Rapsodo unit for our pitchers and individual Blast Motion devices for each of our hitters. Last year, our fundraising efforts allowed us to purchase a new pitching machine with an automatic ball feeder, along with a new radar gun for our pitchers!
We will continue to be extremely purposeful in how we spend our dollars, and with your help, we will continue to provide a championship level experience, and give our guys every resource they need to become the best baseball player they can be!
Thank you,
