20+ colleagues at Essenta Partners are limbering up to take on the 25km Thames Bridges Trek in aid of our chosen charity for the 2022, Borne. Whilst some team members may have differing levels of fitness, we are all aligned in wanting to raise as much money for this most amazing and groundbreaking of charities. Blisters and black toenails will be utterly worth it if the funds we manage to raise help put an end to premature births.

Borne is a medical research charity that funds research into premature birth, the leading cause of infant mortality in children under the age of five around the world today.

We're supporting Borne because every child should have the chance of a full and healthy life, unaffected by disability. It is a cause extremely close to the team's hearts as we all know someone who has had their life materially impacted by what is unfortunately a quite often common event. It is one which can often having significant consequences for all those directly involved and more research needs to be done into understanding how we can reduce and even eliminate this going forward.
