Epilepsy Research Institute UK
Women of Scotland Lunch 2023
Epilepsy interrupts the lives of ordinary, extraordinary people. Its invisible, its unpredictable, its frightening. A life free from epilepsy is possible, but only through research.
Cognitive and behavioural problems in childhood-onset epilepsies are often undiagnosed or poorly managed, and the outcomes of children of women with epilepsy remain unclear. Researchers at the University of Edinburgh will use a large-scale Scottish dataset to determine psychological and educational outcomes, and understand more why poor outcomes occur.
Lets STOP epilepsy interrupting lives.
