The Rotary Club of Hitchin Tilehouse is proud to work with Fabios in Hitchin and Letchworth. Fabios have made a special purple ice cream for World Polio Day on 24th October.
Why purple ice cream? During an immunisation day all immunised children have indelible purple dye on their little finger. This allows healthcare workers to visit households the next day to check all eligible children have received vaccine.
Your donation will really help - did you know it costs only 20p to immunise a child against this crippling disease.
Rotary works with the Gates Foundation, every £1 donated becomes £3 ensuring 15 children are protected from this crippling disease.
