Story

UPDATE: Thank you to all our amazing supporters. In just 3 weeks we reached our emergency fundraising target of £10,000. One thing this pandemic has definitely shown us is that we're stronger together, and individuals can have a profoundly positive impact on other people's lives. But we are concerned about our future. Many charities are facing closure right now. Please continue to give today so we can be there for survivors for whatever lies beyond this immediate crisis. If you're able, please consider a monthly donation. Thank you.

Room to Heal is a therapeutic community, supporting torture survivors in London.

Many of our members are destitute, with no cash support, or are living hand to mouth on just £5 per day. Poverty, homelessness and poor physical and mental health are very real struggles. During the unfolding coronavirus crisis, their experience is set to get much worse.

Please help them by donating today.

Donations to our Emergency Appeal will go directly towards funding our work to support all beneficiaries of Room to Heal affected by Coronavirus. In the unlikely event that the funds raised exceed Room to Heals funding requirements for this appeal, your gift will go towards our longer-term community programme of therapeutic, practical and psychosocial support.
