Our Impact: Himmah Food Bank has been a pillar of support in the community since 2010, distributing 1,200 food parcels monthly and serving 150 hot meals weekly. Our mission extends beyond food distribution; we tackle food poverty, racism, and educational inequalities, striving to create a just and equitable society for all.
The withdrawal of our van means that hundreds of food parcels will not reach the homes of Nottingham locals who depend on them. This disruption comes at a time when demand for our services is at an all-time high, with record levels of need in our community.
We urgently need to raise funds to replace our van and ensure the continuity of our food distribution services. Your donation, no matter how small, will make a significant difference. With your support, we can:
- Purchase a new delivery van
- Continue delivering food parcels to those in need
- Maintain our weekly hot meal services
Please consider donating to our JustGiving campaign. Your generosity will help us overcome this setback and continue our vital work in the community. Together, we can ensure that no one in Nottingham goes hungry.
If you can't donate, please consider delivering food parcels for us by contacting our staff at 07419171700
