Asha Nepal supports families in Kathmandu, focusing in Bhaktapur. Five people, including a pregnant woman and a four-year-old girl, died when a house collapsed under a landslide in the city Bhaktapur, to the east of Kathmandu, state media reports.

One of the mothers that Asha Nepal supports in the community, lost all her crops as they were washed away in the flash floods. She has lost everything.

This story is just one of thousands. Families like hers are now living with limited access to food, clean water, and medical supplies. They need immediate relief to survive, and long-term support to rebuild their lives.

“The death toll has reached 101, and 64 people are missing,” police spokesperson Dan Bahadur Karki told AFP early on Sunday.
