Blackburn Sea Cadets are currently seeking support following the devastating theft of essential boating equipment, valued at £11,000.
This incident has left our cadets without vital clothing and safety equipment required for their activities. Unfortunately, the stolen items are not covered by our insurance premiums, and replacing them has become an unexpected financial burden for the unit.
As a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing young people with opportunities in boating, outdoor adventures, and community service, we rely heavily on donations and support from the local community to ensure the continued success of our activities. The loss of these items has had a significant impact on our ability to deliver safe and effective training for our cadets.
We are now raising funds to replace the stolen items, including safety equipment and clothing necessary for our cadets to engage in their activities.
Your generous donations will directly support the young people who rely on the Sea Cadet program for personal development, teamwork, and skill-building.
Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference in helping us get back on our feet and continue offering a positive and enriching experience for our cadets.
