Especially in winter, families are struggling to survive without essential supplies like heating or basic medical care.
The story of our medical director Dr. Feras is a powerful reminder of the resilience and hope of the Syrian people. After seven years as a refugee, he has returned to Syria to help rebuild the country he loves. As an organisation, EMA has always supported the most vulnerable, and we are committed to doing so now more than ever.
Over the past weeks, EMA’s leadership has been on the ground in and around Damascus, conducting rapid assessments to understand the most urgent needs. During this interim period, while the future of Syria is still unclear, we see the immediate need for basic aid and relief such as heating provisions, medications and living infrastructure.
