Elizabeth Betty Cunningham was not only the first employee of Northwest Vista College but also part of the first graduating class! She devoted over 25 years at NVC helping students meet their dreams of graduating college. Working with Student Success in leadership of the Veterans Center, she made it her mission to provide quality care not only to those serving in the armed forces but their families as well. As a Marine Corps spouse of 30 years, she understood the challenges military families may face. Her love to serve others earned her numerous recognitions during her time at NVC. Sadly, Betty passed away on July 2, 2022.
