Story
Since the UK went under lockdown on 24 March, ELCB has shifted its music-making, learning and community activities online, and will be expanding its virtual offering into the summer term. With over 60 families/members attending virtual rehearsals, social events and concerts, as well as continued one-on-one tutoring lessons, involvement and enthusiasm with ELCB has only strengthened and we are grateful to be able to continue making and learning music together during this challenging time.
As we move into our summer term, we are being ambitious and plan to offer even more opportunities for music-making, learning, sharing and fun. Please support us!

About ELCB:
We have been making music across London since 1974. We welcome players of all ages, instruments and abilities, from first-timers to those who have been playing music their whole lives. Our eight different classical and jazz groups are a great way for everyone to learn skills, meet new people and get involved in the East London community. Every Friday night, our members fill the Shadwell Centre in Tower Hamlets with energy, playing in our various groups and taking low-cost lessons with our expert tutors.
