Story
Eikon is helping young people feel safe, heard and supported
We listen, we talk, and we help young people with the skills they need to live their best life. And we work with families and professionals to make sure everyone gets the support they need.
Growing up in today's world can be incredibly challenging. It's why we listen to young people, they understand better than anyone what's happening in their own lives.
Understanding and giving support for challenges early can often stop problems from becoming much bigger. And we believe every child deserves to feel safe and heard.
By providing a safe place for young people to turn, Eikon helps prevent unnecessary harm and even saves lives. In partnership with schools, communities, health & social care and other organisations, Eikon supports young people to feel supported and respond positively to life's challenges and thrive. We focus on prevention and early intervention helping them resolve concerns before a crisis can develop. We work directly with children and young people in Surrey schools and communities, one-to-one, in groups, clubs and online.
What can your donation achieve?
£100 can help provide a lunch club for a group of students. This can be the first time a young carer feels they can relax and have fun with their peers.
£50 can help give a child confidential time with an Eikon practitioner. These sessions can be the first time a young person feels safe enough to open up about what's worrying them.
£25 can help a young person feel less anxious and more prepared to start secondary school through our workshops.

When you listen to me, it makes me feel accepted, understood, important, valued and validated. It gives me a voice to help me find myself again. It reminds me that I am not invisible or alone. - Young person supported by Eikon
