Story
The inspiration for this challenge came during the Covid Pandemic when people wanted to get fitter after Christmas but couldn't get out of the house to do exercise in the 'normal way'. Having discovered there was a mountain called, 'Edward Mountain' we leapt at the opportunity to launch this virtual challenge.
The real Edward Mountain is in Montana in the US, but you don't need to go there to complete this challenge. You can do it virtually on your own stairs at home!
The equivalent of climbing Edward Mountain is climbing 13,830 steps of a staircase (assuming each step is 20cm high) Depending on how many stairs you have in your staircase this may equate to about 34 walks up the stairs a day. If you live in a bungalow find another alternative or even your front doorstep.
This challenge can be done as a team challenge or as an individual challenge. Make it work for you in your context.
